MV FeBrina

The MV FeBrina liveaboard was purchased by her current owners in 1991.  At the time, she was a fishing and diving charter vessel operating out of Gladstone, Australia. Prior to delivering the boat from Australia to Papua New Guinea, the boat was totally refurbished to cater especially for divers and underwater photographers, with many further upgrades since then.

Today, the 22m MV FeBrina is of liveaboard comfort and convenience. She is a mature, traditional style vessel, built with a steel hull and steel/aluminium superstructure, and is an extremely stable and seaworthy liveaboard. Fitted with all modern navigational and safety equipment, large water and fuel tanks, individual air-conditioning to all areas of the vessel and water level duckboard, MV FeBrina is a perfect platform to explore the waters of Papua New Guinea.

She has three decks in total, the lower deck houses the guest accommodation and engine room, the main deck is being where you will find the saloon and galley, dive deck, dive platform and sun deck. The wheelhouse, laundry and crew quarters are located on the upper deck. MV FeBrina accommodates a maximum of 12 guests in 7 cabins, including 2 smaller single cabins. All have ensuite bathroom facilities and individual airconditioning. This wonderful liveaboard is well set out and catering for serious divers and photographers who want a total PNG dive experience.

MV FeBrina dives the areas of Kimbe Bay, the surrounding waters along the northern coast of New Britain such as Witu Islands to the north west and Fathers Reefs to the east, the Rabaul area and the Southern Coastline of New Britain. For selected departures, MV FeBrina also travels to other dive areas in Papua New Guinea. Our divesites are home to prolific and diverse marine creatures and corals. Each area has it's speciality and as most of our cruises cover at least two and often more destinations, so we can offer many different types of diving in the one voyage.
